LEIGHTON RELIQUARY

A PUPPET SHOW AND GHOST STORY
CONCEIVED BY PETER BALKWILL AND STEPHANIE DOLL
CREATED BY PETER BALKWILL, STEFANIE STAPLES AND NICK JOHNSON

LEIGHTON ART CENTRE

MARCH 11 – APRIL 29, 2017

Over the past 40 years, the Leighton Art Centre has lured many of Alberta’s greatest creators into its domain. Whether to inspire through breathtaking views or to provide space to ply their creative efforts, the LAC has long been a hub for creative minds, but also a hoarder of creative energy and objects. This cache has now been unearthed.

On display are the curious artefacts of the LAC, accompanied by a graphic novel to present both the true and imagined history of this amazing historic resource. Leighton Reliquary will ignite your imagination and may just keep some of it for itself.

Created in partnership with the Canadian Academy of Mask and Puppetry, the Leighton Art Centre, and The Rozsa Foundation
